Antique 18ct Gold Mourning Ring

This is a beautiful 18ct Gold & Seed Pearl Mourning Ring.
This lovely ring has a clear set of Sheffield hallmarks and dates to 1917.
A central heart shaped compartment contains a small lock of hair and there is a lovely inscription inside the band that says “In memory of father” and initials inscribed on the back of the heart.
The ring is in very good vintage condition, with just a couple of tiny scratches on the face of the glass heart which can only really be seen when viewing through a loupe.
